It’s not easy to maintain an attitude of gratitude and consistently remind ourselves of all the positivity that we have in our lives, rather than focus on all that is lacking and absent. It’s applicable in our relationships too. It’s challenging to feel and maintain grateful overtime. For example, when someone is gracious toward us, it may be challenging to be grateful because we present with a mix of feelings, including a combination of feeling flattered and uncomfortable all at the same time.
